Community - Sponsorship and Donations
Micro believes in giving back to the communities in which we operate, and that means engaging with pre-schools, primary schools, secondary schools, amateur sports groups, local hospitals and local community groups.
We welcome opportunities that allow us to be involved in school and community based programs, events and activities such as school fetes, school fundraisers, raffles, auctions, trivia nights, P&C functions, Ride2School day activities, school transport & safety days and more.
Micro will sponsor local community groups, organisations, schools or events which endeavour to enrich the community with a charity or support mission.
Micro aims to support community groups, organisations and events that share the same values, particularly in at least one of the following areas:
- Sport and Fitness
- Health and Wellbeing
- Road Safety & Sustainable Transport
Micro will not provide sponsorship support to individuals, political causes, lobby groups or religious groups if for evangelical purposes.
In return for product sponsorship, we ask that you:
Represent the brand Micro by displaying the scooter out of its packaging and fully assembled.
Use the Micro logo and link to the Micro website www.microscooters.co.nz in all communication relating to the fundraising event/prize.
At the end of your event or fundraising initiative, please send us some photographs and a short summary of how your event went. We're very keen to be involved in the local community but we would like to receive some feedback. This is especially important so that we can help in the future!
Any other specific requirements will be advised once you have submitted your application.
Apply for Sponsorship
If you believe your initiative meets our guidelines above and you would like to apply for sponsorship, please email us for the application form.
Once the form is submitted, please allow 2 weeks for a response. All applications will be reviewed to assess suitability.
Please note: Compliance with the sponsorship guidelines does not guarantee a commitment to a proposal.
A successful case study with NSW primay school is great example of product sponsorship in a primary school.
