How to replace scooter wheels
- Using Allen Keys, undo the axle through the wheel. (If you have difficulty with this please refer to the "Dealing with immovable bolts" on our maintenance page)
- If the wheel does not come with bearings either insert new bearings or replace with the bearings from the old wheel. (see below)
- If your model has spacers or washers make sure they are in place before replacing the wheel.
- Place the Allen Key bolt through the base, wheel and spacers if applicable and tighten.
The great thing about Micro Scooters is that we have a full range of spare parts available – as you know since you’re here. Since Micro Scooters have few moving parts and they are largely screwed together instead of fused, most parts can be easily replaced.
The key thing to help your Micro Scooter last the distance is maintenance, maintenance and maintenance. We recommend tightening the nuts and bolts every few weeks and giving your scooter a full service every four months or so to keep to keep it in its best condition. Kids scooters get a lot of use as well, remember to give them a regular once over to enhance their longevity! Check out our repairs page – where there is information on how to care specifically for their scooter.

Christmas order deadlines
For the best chance of receiving your order by Christmas, we recommend ordering as early as possible. Based on warehouse and courier guidelines, here are the estimated cut-off dates by region. Please note these are estimates only, and ordering by these dates does not guarantee delivery by Christmas. By ordering close to these dates, you accept the risk of possible delays.

- Outlying areas may take a day or two longer.
- Our Wellington store is open to the public with the option of click and collect available.

- If you are sending to a business address please provide business name
- Delivery is between 9am and 5pm
- Couriers will not leave your order without someone signing for it, and are not able to call ahead before delivery.
- Please ensure someone is at your delivery address to receive your order - redelivery charges may apply.
- If you're not sure whether you'll be at home, play it safe and get it delivered to a work address.
- Packages are wrapped in plain brown paper packaging so contents cannot be seen.
- All products are in stock unless otherwise stated next to the item.
Everything You Need to Know
Returning an Item
- Keep proof of postage for all returns.
- Repackage the item properly, including exterior protection, to prevent damage during transit.
- We can only accept returns if the product is in a saleable condition. The item must be:
- Unused, in its original condition, with all original packaging.
- Returned within 60 days of delivery.
Delivery Costs
- The customer is responsible for return shipping costs and any re-delivery fees.
- We do not refund initial shipping fees or credit card charges.
Change of Mind
- We do not accept returns if you change your mind.
Refunds
Refunds will be processed as follows:
- If you received a damaged or incorrect product, we will refund the full product price and the shipping cost
- For any other reason, only the product cost will be refunded.
Exchanges
- If there's a price difference for exchanged products, let us know how you'd prefer to pay or be refunded.
Damaged or Faulty Goods
- You can return items that are damaged or faulty upon delivery.
- If we determine the item is faulty, normal warranty conditions apply, and you are responsible for following warranty instructions.
- We will supply you with a free return label.
- Once we confirm the product is defective, we'll either send a replacement (subject to availability) or refund the product and original delivery costs via your original payment method.
Please note:
- Returns of defective items may incur return shipping costs to Micro New Zealand.
- Allow up to 14 days for refunds after we receive the returned item.
