Great scooter, my daughter loves it as a step up from her Micro. Its better for going over bumps and she mastered the new balance pretty quickly.

Brought for my 8 year old. Rolls nicely but ridiculously difficult to fold and unfold. The micro fold mechanism has never been great but this is especially bad. Also the deck is lower than we expected and hits bumps his older micro didn't. A friend has the same model, exact same problems. A shame as overall we have rated micro scooters previously.

Our scooters are designed with ergonomics in mind, and the lower deck height is intentional as it helps reduce effort when riding and improves overall comfort and control. However, this can mean it is less suited to rough surfaces. For bumpy terrain, we usually recommend our Sprite Suspension range, which features a higher deck and built in suspension for a smoother ride.
If your child is riding at skate parks, a stunt scooter would be the best option, as our cruiser and folding ranges are not designed for park use.
Regarding the folding mechanism, it should be quick and easy to operate. If you are finding it difficult, please email us at info@microscooters.co.nz, and our team will be very happy to look into it and assist.
We truly appreciate your previous support of Micro and hope we can help find a solution that better suits your needs.
