Our Mini Micro Deluxe Eco Scooter, is green by design. We have incorporated recycled maritime plastics into the deck and the brake of the scooter. In an effort to make our scooters an increasingly eco-friendly product. It's a roll in the right direction to a further sustainable world. Join the movement today anyway!
The Mini Micro Deluxe Eco was our first step and now we also have the Maxi Micro Deluxe Eco LED scooter. Fundamental to Micro is the longevity that we build into our scooters; with premium materials and full range of spare parts, Micro scooters are designed to never end up in landfill. So using, recycled plastic is the natural next step. We want to do our part to reduce the world's plastic pollution crisis and reuse what we can. Making a positive contribution to the cleaning up and a commitment to continuing to protect our planet.
We take waste from the maritime industry, clean it, crush it, dry it, melt it and pour it to make our decks and brakes greener. Specifically, the waste that is discarded and obsolete such as ropes, trawls that have been used all over the world. This is the first exciting step in developing a more sustainable scooter. We recognise the potential of recycled plastics instead of producing new ones.
This is just the start. Currently, we have found a solution to making the Mini Micro Deluxe Eco deck and brake out of recycled maritime waste whilst preserving the premium quality of our scooters. The materials used for other parts of the scooter have a different composition, which cannot be replaced with the recycled material yet. Our commitment to constant innovation means it's only onwards and upwards from here!
No, our recycled plastic used for the deck and brake of the Mini Micro Deluxe ECO is as durable as our regular plastic. It has the same strength properties and meets the same safety standards.
With our ECO products we have taken special care to ensure the packaging is as environmentally friendly as possible, we use FSC-certified paper for the packaging and have reduced the amount of plastic inside the box to a minimum. The scooter is not in a plastic bag, only the handlebars are wrapped in brown paper to protect them from damage. The user manual is also FSC certified and is packed in a plastic bag made of biodegradable material.

Disappointed..
The handle bars do not adjust to height and it does not fold for easy storage and transport.
Appreciate recycling has been used in the manufacture.

Hi Julie, sorry to hear that you're not happy with the product. The Mini Micro Deluxe Eco has adjustable handlebars with a height range of 49-68cm, which we do communicate in the specifications on the product page. And while this is not a foldable scooter, the T-bar is completely removable (just use the red button on the underside of the scooter) so you can easily store this scooter as well. Any other questions or info you need, don't hesitate to reach out to us :)
