Introducing our first Featured Stockist; Ball and Skittle Emporium for Children in Perth.
Ball & Skittle sell high quality toys including great range of Micro Scooters. We asked owner Jacqui a few questions about her and her lovely store, and here's what she had to say:
Tell us a little bit about your shop - Ball and Skittle?
Our little shop has grown in just under two years. Since moving to a bigger store in a larger shopping centre in June 2015, not only are we carrying a larger amount of toys but also more styles of Micro Scooters are on display too. The new space has definitely given us more opportunity to show off our goods.
We cater for all ages which is evident on the types of toys and novelty items we sell. So mixing the Adult Micro Scooter amongst all the other kids toys doesn’t look so odd!
What's your favourite thing about MICRO ?
The brand sells itself and that is why we love Micro. Our customers don’t need the hard sell as they already know the great quality of a Micro Scooter. We love that there is a scooter for everyone no matter how old you are. The bright colours of the Minis and Maxi’s really compliment our store well.
What's your top local tip for where to go in Perth?
Our Toy Store of course! But on a serious note, we have the most amazing weather here in Perth and as a mum of 4 kids we love the outdoors so the kids get to let all that energy out. Perth has some wonderful places to visit that are generally free admission. Kings Park is a must visit place for any tourist. The park is massive and boasts a very large natural setting for native Australian Flora. There are educational guided tours, Outdoor concerts and cinemas in the summer, cafes and restaurants and kids play areas. It also has an amazing view of the city and Swan River too!
What's your guilty pleasure?
Food glorious food!!! Yes I do love food and living in Perth is wonderful especially down south where the produce and wines are out of this world. Perth is really soaking up the food truck revolution too so there is always a local night market happening with loads of food on offer.
Tell us 3 things you want to tick off your bucket list?
Visit the US on a food trek sampling food from all around the country.
Learn how to play golf so I can walk off all the excess weight I put on from my food trip. And beating my husband at golf would be a bonus too. Learn all the secrets to Minecraft so I can outsmart my kids!
